Medical Education Angels
Medical Education Angels was dreamed of for a while and finally born 2010. It is owned and operated us! We are Registered Nurses who began working together "back in the day," and became lifelong friends. We love to teach in a fun and non-threatening way because we believe that is where the greatest learning happens. Our goal is to inspire your growth and confidence and have fun while we do it. We are blessed with a phenomenal team of instructors and people behind the scenes who help us get our message out. We appreciate your choosing us for you class!
Kristen & Vilate
Kristen Cimental RN, BSN has been a nurse for almost 30 years. Her resume is impressive with 15+ years of ICU experience, school nursing for the severely handicapped, supervisory positions, teaching for Kaiser and Bakersfield College, and several years of cardiac cath lab experience. When you talk to Kristen, it’s obvious that teaching is her love and passion which shows in her compassion and commitment to work with people until they feel confident with their skills and knowledge. She is a mom of two fun and rowdy boys: Garrett and Gage, helps her husband Randy run a thriving business: Cimental's Mobile Auto & Truck Repair, Inc., and loves to ride her horse.
Vilate Bentz-Bolanos RN, CCRN has been a nurse since 1994. She spent five years in the ICU at Memorial, worked for Medtronic Pacing for a while, then found her way back to the ICU at Bakersfield Heart Hospital. During her ten years at BHH, she also worked as the Resource Nurse and as a Clinical Educator. She eventually tried several years in interventional radiology and aesthetic nursing on the side. Students say her greatest asset is being able to explain complex topics in simple, straightforward ways. She loves to write, has been published (Forks in the Dishwasher) and says she'll write more, "one day soon." She and her wonderfully helpful Philip have two amazing children: Anica and Lucas.
